KAREL ROTATION

Karel Rotation stands at the origin of the rotational architecture of Atelier LS.

The construction is built on a unique rotating base carrying two independent movements working in synchrony.
The entire mechanism rotates once every eight hours, gradually revealing the structure of motion and the relationships between its components.

Energy is supplied by a pair of barrels with a power reserve of approximately 40 hours.

A concealed platinum rotor mounted on a sapphire track preserves the clarity of the mechanical view while ensuring the stability of the entire system.

Time is set using a manual key, elegantly integrated into the upper part of the case — a small ritual that reflects the direct relationship between human and machine.

Karel Rotation marks the beginning of an idea in which mechanics becomes a form of focused work with time.
